As we enter the second week of September, most of the schools and college have re-opened for yet another year. You may have had in your mind that you had bought everything needed for the start back to school, but were all the things you bought the right ones?
Are your kids complaining because they backpacks aren’t as good as their mates? Or possibly that it’s too big or not big enough for the use. When it comes to choosing something like a new bag, it’s not easy, you can’t just buy regular streetwear. Not only do you have to think about whether the bag is in fashion, you also have to consider what your child will think of it.
When it comes to choosing a bag for a school child, either first year or returning, the amount of stress involved is reduced. This is because school children are often required to take in alot of books, equipment as well as their lunch, meaning that a good sized backpack is definately needed. The 1 thing that could make it harder is whether your children like the bags or not.
However, if you have ever chosen a college bag, you know that’s when you get the real problems. What bag they will need is really based on which course, as this alters what they will need to take with them. If they’re on an IT course, they don’t really have to bring anything. However, if you are doing English or maths, they may need more books and equipment.
One of the most popular bag styles with students is the courier/messenger bag which is large enough to hold A4 sized paper/folders, plus some extra food. Generally if you are looking for one of these, Dunlop bags and Gola bags tend to be the most popular this year.
You may have to buy some extra clothing again, you can be thankful for atleast one thing. More often than not, you’ll find many shops giving discounts now that the schools have started because they want to sell all the stock, this means that you should be able to find some savings.
